So....you still do not see the connection, the relationship between mass infinity
consciousness and positive global change??

Well, here's as good as it gets; a logical step by step approach to explaining the
penultimate practical benefits of disseminating the concept of infinity worldwide:

1. You are a viewer or a TV reporter and before your eyes, your consciousness, is
the reality, the images, sounds and, if you are a journalist or rescue worker, the
stench of hungry masses dying of starvation, malnutrition, famine!!! It's in Africa,
India, China, elsewhere in the world, it does not matter where it actually takes
place...these are your fellow human beings, these are people, men, women,
children, infants, with just as much a right to a decent life as you and I. These are
people with memories of loved ones and people whose physical and mental
anguish is unimaginable for those of us who have never been there, never
suffered such horrors, the utter pain of a stomach that has shrunk and shrivelled
like a grape turned to a raisin, the constant nausea and inability to concentrate on
any single thought, people who are afraid to fall asleep and have dreams of food
and comfort turn into nightmares of hopelessness and despair!!! You are the
viewer, you are the witness, you are the reporter....doesn't really matter who you
are, because you feel extremely frustrated and angry, because you can do so
little, because the world seems unable to do enough, because it would be so easy
to tune out to another silly TV sitcom or simply shut the whole damn tube off!

2. You are a good human being, with compassion and serious concern for your
fellow human, and though you are probably in some financial difficulty yourself (or
could be at almost any time), you will put your extra few dollars or more where you
feel it can best go to help alleviate some of the suffering you have just seen on
television. The Red Cross/Red Crescent, World Hunger Relief, Food Aid
International...it probably makes little difference which N.G.O., which non-profit,
which charity you give your money to, because all they can do is save one out of
every three lives at risk...ONE OUT OF THREE ( ! ), and which three supposedly
"G'D only knows"! And then what; so another father, another mother, maybe
another child is saved...saved for what....to live in constant poverty?; to be at
serious risk of another drought-caused famine, or any other epidemic related to
the destruction of our natural environments, to the disruptions of war, to any
number of catastrophes that tend to kill the poorest of our world?? Save people to
a life of virtual servitude at peanut wages, living in substandard housing in crime,
drug and violence infested communities??? Save people from death so that you
may live with a clear conscience?!?

3. You have done your fair share, have contributed all you can, may even have
avoided the plague of compassion fatigue that seems to take hold on an almost
cyclical basis. You have become older, a bit wiser with age, and still the images of
all that suffering keep coming at you; of the mass of bony bodies huddled in
makeshift corrals, of slaughtered innocents that somehow had gotten in the way
of some (sarcasm) "great liberator" promising an end to oppression, an end to the
last vestiges of colonial control, an end to exploitation of the poor masses, images
of rain forests being burnt to oblivion, of melting polar ice shelves, of deforestation
throughout the world, of smog covered mega-cities, of irrefutable proof of the fact
that our world is already entering an age of global warming and all the death that
will be caused by a compromised Ozone Layer, by massive red algae growth that
can dramatically harm our world's oceanic life, change the current-driven weather
patterns and thereby devastate agricultural food sources as well as aquatic food
sources, and the list of environmental problems that threaten our very existence
on this planet grows by the day (frog depletion, trans-continental dust storms and
so forth)!!! Then, as if all those man-made human behavior-influenced and
exacerbated environmental disasters were not enough, we have sick, crazy
extremists of all kinds from all places, seeking to unleash massive terror,
destruction and death on all of us peace-loving moderates! And with chunks of
space rocks threatening to impact our planet and cause mass extinction the world
turns out to be not at all as safe a place as our lucky forbears assumed! So, you
wonder, with all those idiots in political power, is there any hope left at all?!?

4. Then you find out that there plenty of realistic, absolutely feasible and often
practical solutions out there, backyard inventors with technologies that could
dramatically reduce the use of fossil fuels, make energy , transportation and food
distribution cheaper, faster and better! You find out there are new ways to make
foods that taste like beef, pork or lamb, have the positive health benefits without
all the negative health hazards and which can be produced without harm to the
rain forests, to other forests and to our fellow mammals! You find out that there
are new medical technology breakthroughs that could benefit all humanity if the
distribution of wealth was at least 40% more equitable! (That is to say; the rich
could still be pretty wealthy and influential without having to give up more than
40% of their global combined wealth!) You find out that not only can poverty and
common diseases be eradicated by giving less than 2% of our Developed World
Product to the poor of the world (in intelligent and creative ways, of course), but
that by raising all of our own developed world citizens level of living to what is now
the dwindling home-owner middle class we would not have to ask the richest 5%
to relinquish more than 30% of their wealth! You find out that when alternative
forms of transportation and energy production are put into effect the world's
economic and social welfare can be improved dramatically! You also find out that
there are certain backwards-minded people and interest groups, including many
shady characters, who are deliberately preventing all these wonderful changes
from happening by using their power to influence law-makers, political and
economic leaders and by intimidating any who would dare oppose!!! So you get
even more frustrated, pessimistic and depressed and watching the TV news
becomes increasingly difficult and unpleasant!

5. So, eventually you become fed up of being depressed and turn to any group of
people who will make you feel better, who will share in your frustration and offer
you a sense of salvation and hope through some kind of ideology or religion. And
your problems are solved...or so you think!

6. Then some kind of personal tragedy hits hard at the core of your being. It could
be the sudden, tragic (possibly violent) death of someone close and/or important
to you, or you suffer a major health crisis, and surely enough that group, with their
ideology or religion, turn out to be the facade they always were, and now you
wonder: what to do, where to go, who to turn to??? Is there any hope at all?

7. So, you ask, how can we turn the tide of humanity away from the
self-destructive, divisive nationalism, religious bigotry and extremism that do
nothing to help change the environmental, scientific-technological and
socio-economic policy of the world's leading governments? How can we use the
tools of democracy much more effectively?

8. And you find out that there is a way! To change the policies of the world's
wealthiest countries is possible if we can get the vast majority of these countries'
voters to open their minds, to become long-term oriented and deep thinking, to
become much wiser voters!

9. You find out that mass wisdom can be generated by constantly exposing the
masses to ideas that generate open-mindedness, curiosity towards the unknown
mysteries of our infinite universe and which cause people from all walks of life to
value philosophical debate and conversation!

10. You find out that there is a proven principle in human psychology that states
that one's attitude and behavior towards the world (including one's voting
manners) are directly driven by one's world-view and perception of reality, which
in turn are determined by the one thought that one tends most to entertain (think
about, meditate on), and that if that central thought is one of limitations and the
finite then one tends to give up thinking about problems and searching for
solutions, whereas one whose central thought is the unlimited and infinite tends to
be open-minded, long-term oriented and deeply introspective, which are the basic
modes of wisdom, of thinking and reacting wisely as opposed to unwisely and in a
reactionary way!!!

11. So, you see the true hope offered by a massive, permanent, on-going
"advertising" (publicity) campaign for INFINITY!!! You understand that philosophy
should become the interest of all humanity and not just for the accredited few. You
realise that giving money to charitable organizations and efforts of compassion is
fine and necessary, protesting government corruption and abuse is sometimes
useful, getting involved in environmental causes and organizations is excellent,
but all theses things can only have a real impact if the world at large becomes
sufficiently wise and uses democratic means to change the policies and laws!
Without mass INFINITY awareness we are eventually doomed, for we will never
have become the homo-sapiens we should become and we will end up the
self-destructive homo-ignoramus we still are! No other concept, no other thought
has the power to effect such change as required to save our planet and save our
species!
