"The Dog Delusion" (extraction of this upcoming book)

The facts as I know them to be:
1. Regardless of any limits that do exist and which may define a finite
Universe, the totality of all that must exist, the totality of all space-time and
change must be infinite, such that there is likely to be an infinite number
of relatively finite Universes. The idea that there is only this Universe of
ours and nothing beyond, before or after, defies all true logic and is based
on the same centric viewpoint that was behind the belief that the Sun and
planets revolve around our planet.
2. An infinity and eternity of space-time and change means that no entity
could possibly have created all reality, all space-time and change, thus the
idea of a physically omni-potent, omni-escent and omni-present deity such
as the god misperceived by too many (today) is illogical, but does not
deny the possibility (and to my way of thinking, the Reality) of G-D that is
an indestructible, spiritually Omni-Potent, Omni-Escent and Omni-Present
Spiritual Entity of which every living creature's Soul is a part of, and which
created, through an interaction with physics, the first living entity and
every evolved entity thereafter.
3. The idea that each and every one of us is experiencing a one-time-only
experience that is called life, let alone the experience of existence
irrespective of being in the living state or not, as suggested by those
so-called scientists and medical doctors who subscribe to the
materialist-atheist viewpoint (not all scientists and doctors) is abhorrent to
most of us. Which is why, given that most of us are only aware of two
alternatives, one being the classical dogmatic point of view and the other
being the atheist-materialist point of view, most of us will tend towards the
traditional religious or dogmatic point of view in our logical and emotional
fear of death and the seeming possibility that these so-called scientists
and medical doctors might just be right and that beyond this experience
there is eternal nothingness and not even the ability to experience that!
But the reality of an infinite reality lends credence to the possibility that
just as there is no absolute beginning and no absolute end to all
space-time change in the realm of the Physical, there may also be an
eternal, indestructible Spiritual reality. In any case, it is this modern-day
extreme uncertainty about the meaning or meaninglessness of life and
existence, fueled by the atheist-materialists and the apparent unreality of
the alternative traditional religious views, that subconsciously is the prime
motivational factor for most people, in their deeply insecure state of mind,
behind their efforts at either imposing their religious dogma on others,
either by force of law or even by brute force, and/or their self-centered
pursuit of material security regardless of the costs and harm incurred and
done to others. In effect, this extreme modern-day insecurity is the prime
cause of extreme behavior, and is becoming more and more prevalent as
the clash between the religious traditionalists and the atheist-materialists
becomes more and more severe.
4. In a universe among an infinite number of universes that are part of an
eternal and infinite reality of space-time and change all species that have
evolved and become conscious of the reality-based notions of life and
death (death as a process of the termination of life and not as the idea
absolute end of all existence) the idea that everything we experience could
simply be just a meaningless myriad of self-defeating phenomena and that
all our emotions have no basis in reality is not only extremely disturbing
and abhorrent, but defies all logic about both the emotional sense of
things and the nature of life itself! It is this extreme uncertainty about
everything that quickly turns most people away from the very concept of
Infinity, and yet it is only through a truly conscious understanding of
Infinity, as in the eternity, the beginninglessness and endlessness of
space-time change, that anyone can finally begin to realize that, given all
current knowledge we have and do not have about life, consciousness and
existence, there is just as much a possibility that the atheist-materialists
are right as there is that the spiritual scientists are right, but that the
traditional religious dogmatist are wrong. In effect, the very concept that
seems the most threatening and insecurity-causing, the concept and
reality of the infinite and infinity of space-time and change, is the concept
most needed by everyone to become true Homosapiens and no longer be
subject to the ignorance that is prevalent among Homoignoramus, which
is the way most people currently are (at the time of this writing, 2007).
5. Scientists still do not know how life came into being and obviously have
not been able to reproduce a single living entity in laboratory experiments.
The general assumption or hypothesis is that what cannot be duplicated in
any laboratory experiment is the great sequence of time, i.e hundreds of
millions of years, and quantum number of permutations required for the
right sequence of interactions and conditions to evolve and spark into
existence the first living entity. While there is no doubt about the scientific
evidence of the fact that life has evolved from primitive single-cell entities
into multi-cellular and eventually multi-organ entities, there is no
conclusive evidence one way or the other that life came into being by a
purely random interaction of non-living physical entities or by factor of an
eternal, indestructible spiritual entity not subject to the laws governing
physical entities. Thus, one thing we can still be absolutely certain of: we
would be just as wrong to accept as conclusive the viewpoint of the
atheist-materialists as we would to accept as conclusive the viewpoint of
the spiritual scientists.
6. The problem with science is that by its very construct it is a method of
inquiry, of reasoning and understanding that is strictly based on physical
instruments of observation and measurement and therefore is unable to
observe and measure any 'thing' that is not physical or subject to the laws
of physics as we know them to be. This clearly implies that there can never
be conclusive scientific evidence of the existence of Soul or any Spiritual
entity! Thus every effort at proving through serious scientific inquiry the
existence or non-existence of Soul or any Spiritual entity is illogical and
futile. Nevertheless, science can provide us circumstantial evidence to
help build a plausible argument in favor or against the existence of Soul or
Spiritual entities. And that is exactly what has happened!
7. If your sense of 'being', of existence, independent of your awareness of
self-character and social identity, were simply a strictly temporal
phenomena caused by the, yet unproven, interaction of biological and
thus physical entities, creating a referential grid, a canvas unto which our
inner persona is depicted, then how is it possible, by what dynamics can it
happen, that one has a sense of continuity of self-being even as every
organ, cell, molecule, compound, element, atom in our bodies is
constantly changing and transforming and becoming parts of other
physical entities? That is to say, where is there sufficient stability and
integrity maintained at the core of our brains, let alone bodies, for enough
time to allow for one to sense self-being for longer than a nanosecond or
at best 7 months? Why 7 months? Because that is the time it takes for all
atoms in our bodies and brains to change condition and position and
state of spin!!! In other words: science seems to show evidence that
nothing physical can explain our sense of self-being, even as self-being is
being confused by some weak scientists with consciousness! Mental
consciousness and awareness are not the same as sense of self-being at
all, as evidenced by numerous experiments and observed conditions, such
as those who suffer from split brains and other biological anomaly. So, it
would seem that there must be a non-physical reality to which our true
selves, beyond our biological lives and personal characters, belong! We
spiritual scientists (and spiritual philosophical scientists) call that the
Spiritual reality of Souls!
8. The notion that we exist beyond and before our individual lives is
perplexing to many who first become aware of this notion, and seems to
defy all logic. For one thing; we do not like stories that are without
beginnings and ends, and which have many more unknowns than knowns!
Also, we do not like the idea of eternal parallels! The idea that there are
two parallel realities; one which is non-self-sensing physical and one
which is self-sensing Spiritual, in which the Spiritual sometimes interacts
with the physical to form the State of Life through which Souls can
experience Physical reality and the pleasures, pains and mysteries of Life
and Everything Else, and that one will never entirely become or destroy
the other, in which all physical reality is imperfect and all Spiritual reality
not in the living state is perfect, is an idea which most of the few who are
at all aware of it find disturbing and seemingly illogical! But what is truly
illogical is that every emotion and idea that we have concerning Life's
myriad of emotions as they relate to the transcendental reality and eternal
existence of Soul and Spiritual reality is a delusion created by a purely
accidental and ultimately meaningless temporal phenomena called the
living brain!

What is you opinion about my ideas?
I am truly curious and would appreciate your feedback, as well as any
indirect support you may be able to give in furthering public awareness of
these scientific and spiritual ideas of mine.
Note: a 'spiritual scientist' is not a fake scientist who mixes spiritual
awareness with scientific fact or who unscientifically thinks that science
can ever be used to prove anything spiritual. A spiritual scientist is simply
a scientist who is also aware of a realm separate from that of the physical.
